Human Resources Virtual Courses Directory
Instructor-led distance learning courses are a viable solution for dispersed groups and small teams on a limited budget. Our web-based human resources training courses address skills for effective interviewing and workplace harassment prevention for managers and individual contributors.
These programs are taught in segments between 90 minutes and two hours in length. As with our onsite courses, they’re designed for groups and scheduled at a time convenient to us and to you. For programs comprising multiple segments, clients may purchase all of some of the sessions offered.
Our virtual classroom courses are not lecture-based webinars. For that reason, they work best if participants have access to their own keyboards.
Review the titles in our existing library by reading the short course summaries listed below. Alternatively, click on the links show to read the full program overviews.
If your group is interested in a topic you don’t see listed, please contact us to discuss your needs and how we might help.

SHORT PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Knowing how to interview candidates effectively is a skill many people but on which few people receive formal training. Left on their own, some interviewers research best practices. Others, however, “wing it” and risk exposing their organizations to bad hires, legal problems, or worse. This course aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge they need to successfully and legally interview applicants. The program covers the ins and outs of the process, best practices, legal and illegal questions, and communication strategies interviewers can leverage to build rapport and put candidates at ease.
Workplace harassment has explicit and hidden costs. Organizations that fail to explain to their employees what is and isn’t okay expose themselves to unnecessary risks. This survey course provides all employees with information about sexual harassment: what it is, why it’s not okay, and what to do when it happens. Upon request, we can tailor this program to address a client’s specific policies and processes.
When it comes to harassment prevention, managers and others in charge have responsibilities specific to their roles. This web-based course outlines those obligations. The program can stand on its own or work in tandem with Now You Know: Understanding Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, our course designed for individual contributors.
