Course Overview
One-on-one training is a highly personalized approach, allowing trainers to tailor lessons to individual learners’ needs. However, effectively training adults requires understanding how they learn and keeping them actively engaged. This workshop focuses on leveraging adult learning principles, utilizing tools like anchors, echoes, loops, and signposts to ensure training sticks, and the importance of note-taking to help learners retain and organize information.
Participants will explore the FOCUS model, a framework that helps ensure trainers create learning environments that meet adult learners’ needs. Additionally, the course emphasizes avoiding common instructor errors, such as overwhelming learners with too much information or neglecting real-life application of the content. The workshop also covers an eight-step training process to guide learners from initial exposure to mastery, ensuring clarity and retention at every stage.
The following outline highlights some of the course’s key learning points. As part of your training program, we will modify content as needed to meet your business objectives. Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of the participant materials prior to the session(s).
