Course Overview
This hands-on workshop is designed to help teams unleash their creativity and improve communication skills through collaborative activities. Throughout the program, participants will work together to design and create puppets, developing their ability to express ideas, communicate with clarity, and execute plans as a cohesive unit.
In the first phase, participants brainstorm in small groups to create a set of themed puppets, learning to combine their strengths and work toward a shared goal. Next, they compete in an assembly line challenge to craft as many puppets as possible, reinforcing the importance of efficiency and teamwork in project execution. Next, an individual sock or stick puppet challenge encourages each team member to express personal creativity. The workshop culminates in a large, collaborative puppet project, where the team must pool their collective skills and insights to create something greater together.
Through these challenges, teams will not only practice planning and communication but also reflect on the importance of listening to each other’s ideas and building trust. The puppet-making activities encourage a fun, engaging atmosphere where participants can think outside the box while strengthening their group dynamics.
