Business Writing Course

Does your organization suffer from any of the following?

  • Manuals that don't make sense.
  • Emails that are sent to the wrong recipients.
  • Memos that are ignored because their purpose isn’t clear.
  • Reports that aren’t proofread or edited before distribution.

These are just some of the many problems that compromise the effectiveness of written communication in the workplace, but we can help.

Our business writing courses introduce people to tools for crafting documents they must produce as part of their work. Whether these documents include email messages, proposals, white papers, policy statements, or user manuals, our courses are tailored to cover a variety of skill levels, formats, and objectives.

Whether the goal is to have employees understand the five components of exceptional workplace writing, adhere to the Federal “Plain Language” initiative guidelines, or fine tune their editorial skills through the development of an in-house style sheet, we offer multiple courses that address the specific needs of our corporate and government clients.

Seasoned employees and new hires alike will benefit from information about changes that have affected stylistic preferences and will learn how technology in particular has impacted writing skills.
