Course Overview
This online course explores issues facing women in business. It is a partner course that provides general awareness training on how representation, stereotypes, and workplace structures shape experience and opportunity. It looks across multiple domains, including politics, education, sports, STEM fields, pink-collar roles, and management, and it connects representation patterns to what organizations reward, overlook, and normalize.
We include select partner courses alongside our instructor-led programs to cover needs that are real but not always suited to a scheduled workshop. Some learners want a focused online option they can complete quickly. Others need a baseline understanding before a team discussion, a policy update, or a broader leadership initiative. When a topic fills a clear gap, we make it available here.
The course reviews common challenges working women face and examines strategies for addressing unfair treatment at both the personal and organizational level. It also includes a short review of milestones in the history of women in the workplace and closes by connecting stronger representation to business benefits, especially in leadership.
Who This Helps
This course is a strong fit for professionals who want a clearer, more accurate understanding of gender-related dynamics at work and how those dynamics show up in hiring, promotion, leadership opportunity, and day-to-day treatment. It is also useful for managers and HR partners who want a shared baseline for discussions about workplace fairness and representation.

How Teams Get Value From It
Teams use this course to build shared language for discussing representation, bias, and fair treatment without guessing or talking past one another. Common uses include assigning the course before manager training, using it as pre-work for HR or DEI discussions, and pairing it with a short facilitated conversation about what the organization will reinforce, measure, and expect.
