During this opening discussion, participants will get to know the five generations, who they are, their personalities, and their core values.
What Makes Them Tick: The Business Impact of Generational Diversity
Workforce demographics have changed significantly in recent years, and understanding this issue is important. During this segment participants will explore generational expectations and preferences related to things such as: recruiting, retention, customer service, communication, and team dynamics.
What They Can Do for You: Strengths of Each Generation
Each generation brings value to the workplace, and by identifying and leveraging those values in this section of the program participants will learn to how to improve the performance and effectiveness of individuals and teams.
Connecting with Customers: Managing External Relationships
Based on generation, people have different preferences as far as how they want to be communicated with and approached. During this part of the program participants will learn about how these preferences can help enhance customer relationships and bridge gaps between the generations.
The Right Ingredients: Generational Leadership
Managing across generations can present challenges. During this discussion the facilitator will share tips and additional tools related to leadership styles, giving feedback, and effective communication with each generation.
Mixing It All Together: Five Principles for Keeping It Simple
In this final segment participants will apply five key principles to simplify intergenerational interactions.
By the conclusion of this program participants should have a solid understanding of what it takes to effectively interact with and manage people from different generations.
